FEATURED IN THE BOOK, 'GREEN CARD STORIES'

          Picture
Farah's is one of 50 moving, compelling stories profiled in the coffee table book, GREEN CARD STORIES, published by Umbrage Editions, scheduled to be released in January 2012.

As the immigration debate roils America, the book cuts through the rhetoric, presenting 50 recent U.S. immigrants in dramatic essays by nationally recognized journalist Saundra Amrhein & portraits by award-winning photographer Ariana Lindquist, in collaboration with immigration lawyers and scholars Laura Danielson & Stephen Yale-Loehr.

Green Card Stories puts a human face on immigration, moving the debate beyond the divisive political arena and into the landscape of everyday America. These 50 individuals are but a tiny fraction of the numerous immigrants who are positively contributing to our nation today.
